The proper way to clean your iphone
There was a group London School of Hygiene found that one and six phones have fecal matter traces on their phones.
Times magazine reported that phones are 10 times dirtier than a toilet seat.
Everyone is talking about the proper way to wash your hands today, but we need to focus on sanitizing our phone. It is the one device you almost always have on you, and one that you put to your face. Whatever we touch, whatever germs or bacteria collect on our hands is transmitted to our phones. You do little good if you wash your hands but neglect cleaning your phone.
If you have been out and about, sanitizing your phone should be the first thing you do upon returning, then wash your hands. You should make a habit of sanitizing your phone at least once a day anyways even if you haven’t been anywhere.
Apple used to discourage the use of alcohol or wipes but they have since retracted that and have said it is safe to use wipes and a sanitizer.
There is a list of very specificthings that they recommend to use.
What to use to sanitize your iphone:
1- Isopropyl alcohol
Use 70% isopropyl alcohol and a soft paper, towel or cotton swab.Use just a small quantity of alcohol and rub it along the edges of your phone, over the screen, the back case and the back the ring if you have one.
AVOID: speaker and entry ports as liquid can enter and cause damage at these sources.
Also avoid using 90% isopropyl alcohol as it evaporates before it even has a chance to do disinfect bacteria or viruses.
2- Lysol wipes. Rub the wipe along the edges of your phone, over the screen, the back case and the back the ring if you have one.
AVOID: Don’t use the last in the pack. You do not want to use a dripping wet cloth. Also avoid speaker and entry ports as liquid can enter and cause damage at these sources.
Please stay safe out there, remember to sanitize your phones and we will be here to take care of you if you break your iphone or ipads.
